My first exposure to massage was in the early 90’s at a Healing Fair in Florida. It helped me so much I continued to receive frequent massage from then on, especially after an auto accident that injured my hips and lower back. My interest in massage grew as time went on and I also learned about yoga and other beneficial practices. In 2011, because of my passion for the value and benefit of massage, I chose to attend classes and get my massage license. 

 

I received my massage therapy education at the Alpha Institute of Massage and Skin Care in Port St. Lucie, Florida.  The Alpha Institute was the best school in a 3 county area for over 25 years, due to its small class size and instructors who were working in the field, providing the services they taught.   

 

When I moved to Roanoke, Virginia I opened my massage practice, primarily in Botetourt County. After serving the Roanoke Valley since 2012 with quality, therapeutic and relaxation massage services, including hospice massage, I have chosen to specialize in two services that are much needed and very under-served.

 

The first is Manual Lymphatic Drainage. MLD or Lymphatic Drainage is for those who suffer with edema in any body part, from either disease, cancer treatment, injury or surgery. It is also useful for overall immune system integrity.

 

The other service is Comfort Touch™ Massage, a gentle, nurturing service beneficial for any individual of any age. Comfort Touch™ is a valuable tool for relaxation, pain reduction, and as part of an overall wellness approach to your health.
